The first edition of our Post-Academic course 'Hydrogen: a crucial piece of the puzzle in the energy transition" was a success! The course was fully booked in no time and the first batch of 40 participants started their hydrogen journey through the 10 sessions course, which is organized by the Ghent University Hydrogen Platform, together with Agoria and UGain.
Why is this course unique? It combines theoretical sessions on various aspects like hydrogen production, storage, conversion and application in industry, taught by Ghent University's academic experts, with practical site visits to renowned Belgian companies like Van Hool NV, Fluxys, Arcelor Mittal and ABC Engines. Specifically this combination of theory and seeing the application in actual companies was highly appreciated by the participants.
The first group of course attendants was quite diverse, with all sectors represented. The target group for this course was companies who anticipate a transition towards hydrogen and want to invest in the skills of their technical employees (at least having a technical bachelor) in this topic.
Congratulations to the first group of graduates who received their certificate during their last site visit at ABC Engines in Ghent on 1st June 2023.
